History

Impact Nepal was established on September 30, 2020 by a group of doctors and dentists to be able to run the free health camp more efficiently and on a more regular basis. Previously IMPACT NEPAL physicians have been running a free health camp in collaboration with The Nepalese Society of Texas (NST) since 2009. The long term goal of IMPACT NEPALis to establish a free medical and dental clinic for the Nepalese community.

Who are we?

Impact Nepal is a non-profit organization based in Austin, Texas, dedicated to providing free health-related consultations, public health awareness, and motivation to the youth. Founded on September 30, 2020, by a group of medical professionals, our mission is to impact the community and beyond by establishing free medical and dental clinics for the Nepalese community. We envision becoming an integral part of the Central Texas community, driven by a sacred mission and philosophy to positively influence the lives of individuals through our comprehensive health services and youth empowerment initiatives.

Goals

– To build a healthy community by offering free medical and dental consultations to those without access to healthcare.

– To foster a sense of community and closeness among doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

– To provide a social platform for interaction and networking between community members and healthcare professionals.

– To educate and raise awareness about common health issues and disease prevention.

– To offer information and guidance to aspiring doctors, medical residents, and nurses, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs.

– To organize fundraising events and host social and cultural programs for our members.
